My Book Recommendations

Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body. Mental exercise and you don’t even have to leave your house! I love reading, but since I’m a busy bee I haven’t been reading as much as I would like to. If you would like to know which books are still on my bucket list, I suggest you read my ‘Book Bucket List’  article that I wrote a few months ago! This article, though, is about the books I have already read and I would highly recommend you to read as well!

On to the books!

To Kill a Mockingbird – Harper Lee

This book is a classic in American literature. Racial inequalities and rape issues are talked about in a warm, almost humorous way. This is certainly not a light read and you really have to pay attention to every word. Though, it’s beautifully written and it gives you food for thought.

Will Grayson, Will Grayson – John Green & David Levithan

If I’m going to be completely honest with you every John Green book could be on this list since all of his books are amazing. The reason I chose Will Grayson, Will Grayson is because this book isn’t talked about as much as let’s say The Fault in Our Stars, nonetheless it’s definitely worth a read. This book is written from two points of view which makes it very interesting. A remarkable story about two boys who share the same name and cross paths one day, that day will turn their world around.

IT – Alexa Chung

This book is a pretty light read, it’s very nicely designed and the fabric cover gives the book an exclusive feel. This is the sort of book you would bring to the beach with you, with a sparkling drink on the side. Words and pictures alternate, which makes it a good book to just flick through and admire the pictures. The book covers everything; from fashion to photography, to love, to music. When you think Alexa you think stylish and this book definitely lives up to all the expectations!

Lots of love!
